Jackie Fox is a writer, poet and breast cancer survivor who lives in the Omaha, Neb. area with her husband Bruce. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her previously published books were about computers and a bridge in South Carolina. Fox developed a passion for breast cancer issues after getting up close and personal with it. Fox serves on the citizens' advisory committee of the Missouri Valley Cancer Consortium, which provides clinical research opportunities to residents of Nebraska and western Iowa.
